Impact is the various forms of initiative the Bunker takes to engage veterans and those who support veterans.
We have impact with veterans through providing a place for care and resources, a community for connection and relationships, services to support transition needs, and advocacy to champion veterans' needs.
We have impact with those who support veterans through an extensive network of alliances, collaborations, partners, and volunteers. This impact is extensive at local, state, and national levels.

RECENT SUCCESSES
- The Bunker led an effort with State Representative Sheila Dills to get a bill passed giving veteran service organizations state sales tax exemption.
- We negotiated a collaboration with Red Crown Federal Credit Union to be the recipient of a fundraising effort through their new debit card.
- Our Intake Specialist, Mia Navarro, took a call from a veteran who was indicating he wanted to commit suicide. Mia competently and compassionately managed to get him the immediate help he needed.
